Elbow’s Up !!

I wish I could buy a beer for every lawyer, judge, university president or corporate CEO who has fought back against the bullying by the current WH occupant and the executive branch crime gang.

Every time, EVERY TIME, trump (lower case “t” by choice) and his crime gang find success with bullying any entity, they celebrate with high-fives among themselves and immediately apply their new-found successful extortion tactic on multiple new targets. Anyone; any firm, corporation, congressman, judge or individual citizen that finds themselves on the receiving end of this ugly, fascist regime’s intimidating threat needs to immediately, with all the energy and tools at their disposal, go into a middle finger, “elbows up” mode. Anything less is called “acquiescent compliance”, or to mince words a little less; knee-pad cowardice.

“Elbows up” is an expression we can thank Canada for. Originating in the hockey world - where participants are no strangers to energetic conflict - it was perfect as Canada’s national response to trump’s bloviating about his fascist dream of annexing them as the U.S. 51st state. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered Canada’s elbows up message to Mr t in no uncertain terms in the Oval Office. Smoothly. Clearly. No posturing, ranting, bluffing, bs, lies or any of the other primary communication techniques we know we can count on from the Presidential impersonator we’re stuck with for now.

We can’t put our fingers or elbows down. None of us.

The creeping, one day at a time efforts of the project 2025 MAGA crew trump and vance have assembled is still marching hard toward the day when they can scare every average U.S. citizen into hiding in their home - instead of showing defiance and non-compliance in the streets. Are we still wondering why no (R) congressmen have shown any backbone against trump’s worst EOs? Except for maybe a few hints from Don Bacon (Nebraska), over 200 (R) politicians in the House are still acting like; “maybe he’s a Constitution-shredding asshole, but he’s OUR Constitution-shredding asshole, so live with it !!”. For any of them to accept that trump is a dangerous disaster, and vote accordingly, they need to see more elbows in their face between now and the midterm elections.
